Returns Policy

At giftcraft.ie, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you’re not satisfied, we’re here to help. This policy applies to purchases made through our online store and complies with Irish consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013.

1. Change of Mind / Unwanted Items
You have the right to cancel your purchase and return most items within 14 calendar days of receiving them.
To be eligible for a return:
• Items must be unused, in resalable condition, and in their original packaging
• You must inform us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of delivery
• The item must then be returned to us within 14 days of that notification
Return shipping costs are your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked postal or courier service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
To initiate a return, please contact us at our email: info@giftcraft.ie, with your order number and the reason for return.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

2. Personalised and Custom Orders
Personalised or custom-made items (including products engraved, printed, or created to your specifications) cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty, damaged, not as described, or not what you ordered. This is in line with EU consumer law exemptions for custom goods.
Please ensure that all personalised or custom specifications provided at the time of order are correct.
This does not affect your right to a remedy if the item is faulty or not as described.

3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, not as described, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 30 days of receipt.
If eligible, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, and we will cover the return shipping cost.
To report an issue, please contact us at our email: info@giftcraft.ie, with:
• Your order number
• A brief description of the issue
• A photo clearly showing the problem

4. Returns and Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days using your original payment method.
If approved, we will refund:
• The item price
• The standard delivery charge (if applicable)
Please note: We do not refund express or upgraded delivery charges.

5. Proof of Purchase
To complete a return or refund request, we require proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email or receipt.

6. Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer protection laws.
